        The direction of scientific activity: methods and algorithms of filtering, identification, synthesis of optimal control and adaptation for the creation of control, control and telecommunications systems with intelligent predictive models; methods and means of monitoring information communication networks for attack detection and prevention systems.

      Doctor of Technical Sciences (2010), professor (2018). Graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Mining Institute (1979) with a major in “Automatics and telemechanics”. Doctoral thesis: “Automated systems of optimal management of processes of coarse crushing and self-crushing of ores”, specialty 05.13.07 “Automation of management processes”. Since 2005, he has worked as an associate professor and professor of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, and since 2016, he has been working as the head of the Department of Information Security and Telecommunications. Certificate of professional development PK02070743/000217 dated June 26, 2020 (NTU “DP”). CEFR certificate of English proficiency at B2 level (No. 0315401DP71 dated 30.03.2018).

    Teaches disciplines: “Modeling of complex non-linear processes in cyber security”, “Theory of systems and management”, “Modern methods of information processing”.

        Successfully combines pedagogical activity with scientific work. Prepared 3 candidates of sciences. Has more than 150 scientific publications, including 3 textbooks, 3 training manuals, 2 monographs and 10 patents. Inventions of Kornienko V.I. implemented on the Ukrainian space vehicle “Ocean-O”.
